A member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, Sarah Seastron set up Clockwork HR in 2008 armed with experience gained at a financial services company. Keen to develop her individualistic flair for people management, the scope of Sarah’s skills has stood her in good stead as she has helped business owners and managers to handle their personnel better.

The adage stands that ‘people buy from people’ and Sarah’s clients are drawn to her calm and supremely competent approach. They are usually family-owned, owner-run small businesses who haven’t the budget or demand for a full-time HR department.

Nicola Ward

Administrative Support

Nichola Ward joined Clockwork HR in 2016 to provide administrative support and train in HR services. Her enthusiasm for the role and close working relationship with Sarah ensures Clockwork clients receive a seamless service, with Sarah’s time freed up for liaison with clients and their employees while essential business admin and paperwork is taken care of behind the scenes.

Away from the desk Nichola thrives on pub lunches worked off with a generous dose of walking, returning home to two furry feline friends.


In charge of seat warming, keyboard treading and pen batting, Ginger is an integral part of the team on hand to offer a friendly feline perspective on any issue.

Using simple terminology which everyone can understand, she translates stodgy employment law into practical processes.
WHAT type of HR issues do we handle?

The issues Sarah handles range from recruitment to redundancy, covering contracts, absenteeism and other tricky issues along the way. Her objective is building support mechanisms to help employers and employees get on with doing their jobs smoothly without conflict. With discretion, confidentiality and an impartial ear, Sarah listens first before making recommendations. She’s proudly objective, understands the legalities and can amicably ease away every HR dilemma.
